1. Seller and issuer of invoices
Tickets in the online shop bilete.telegondolapiatraneamt.ro are sold, and invoices are issued, by the following legal entity (“Perla Invest”):
- name: PERLA INVEST SRL;
- registered office: Str. Gării nr. 7, Piatra Neamț, jud. Neamț;
- Trade Register number: J2006001193275;
- unique registration code (CUI): RO19101430;
- share capital: 30.871.000 lei;
- telephone: 0724 538 928;
- email: office@perlainvest.ro.
Perla Invest is the operator of Telegondola Piatra Neamț and runs both the online shop and the information website telegondolapiatraneamt.ro.
2. Capacity in which Perla Invest sells the tickets
Perla Invest sells the tickets as a trader, in its own name, for the transport service it provides as operator of the cable car. The contract is concluded directly between the customer and Perla Invest.
3. Subject matter of these terms
These terms set out the conditions for using the website and the online shop and the conditions for buying tickets for Telegondola Piatra Neamț online.
The following documents form an integral part of these terms: Ticket delivery, Cancellation and refunds, Privacy policy and Cookie policy.
The customer accepts these terms by ticking the dedicated box before payment.
4. Tickets sold online
The online shop sells tickets for travel by cable car between the departure station in Piața Gării and the arrival station on Platoul Cozla: return tickets, single tickets and passes with a set number of rides.
The types of ticket available online, together with the description and price of each, are shown in the shop. Tickets not shown in the shop can be bought only at the ticket office of the departure station.
Tickets are not issued for a particular day or time. Each ticket is valid from the date of purchase for the period shown in the shop before payment. The date until which the ticket is valid is printed on it.
5. Price and payment
Prices are stated in lei and include VAT. The price shown is the final price, with no further charges or fees. Payment is made in lei.
The price shown at the time the order is placed applies. A later change in fares does not affect the price of an order already paid.
Payment is made online by Visa or Mastercard bank card through NETOPIA Payments, a payment institution authorised by the National Bank of Romania. Card details are entered on the secure NETOPIA Payments page and are not passed on to Perla Invest.
6. Placing the order and conclusion of the contract
An order has three steps: choosing the tickets, entering contact and billing details, and payment. Before payment, the chosen tickets, the price of each and the total amount payable are displayed, and the order can still be changed.
The contract is concluded when NETOPIA Payments confirms the payment. From that moment the tickets are issued, shown on screen and sent by email together with the invoice. The email constitutes confirmation of the order.
An order not paid within 30 minutes of being placed is cancelled automatically, without any obligation on the part of the customer.
The contract is concluded in Romanian.
7. Delivery of tickets
Tickets are delivered electronically, immediately after payment is confirmed, with no delivery charge. Details are set out in the document Ticket delivery.
8. Use of tickets
On entering the station, the passenger shows staff the ticket’s QR code, either on a phone screen or printed.
Each scan of the code corresponds to one ride: a return ticket is scanned twice, once for the ride up and once for the ride down; a single ticket is scanned once; and a pass is scanned as many times as the number of rides it includes.
A ticket no longer gives access once all its rides have been used or its period of validity has expired. Copies of the same ticket do not entitle the holder to additional rides.
The QR code serves as the ticket. The customer is responsible for keeping it safe and must not make it public: a ride is deemed to have been taken when the code is scanned, regardless of who presents it.
Reduced-fare tickets may be used only by persons in the category for which they were bought, as described on the Prices & hours page. Staff may ask for a document proving that the passenger belongs to that category. If no such document is shown, access is allowed after the difference up to the full fare has been paid at the ticket office.
The categories of passengers who travel free of charge, without a ticket, and the conditions for free travel are set out on the Prices & hours page.
Tickets bought online may not be resold for commercial purposes.
9. Operating hours and suspension of the cable car
Operating hours are published on the Prices & hours page.
Perla Invest may stop the cable car, even without prior notice, for inspections and maintenance work, in adverse weather conditions, in the event of a power cut and in any situation affecting passenger safety.
While the cable car is stopped, tickets remain valid until the date printed on them. At the customer’s request, an order whose tickets have not been used is cancelled and the amount paid is refunded in accordance with the document Cancellation and refunds.
Staff may refuse access to persons who do not comply with the rules displayed in the stations or with staff instructions, who are under the influence of alcohol or other substances, or who endanger the safety of other passengers. In these cases the ticket is not refunded.
10. Cancellation of the order and refund
An order may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase, without giving any reason and at no cost, provided that no ticket in the order has been used. The request is submitted from the Cancel your order here page or by email to office@perlainvest.ro. The full conditions are set out in the document Cancellation and refunds.
11. Invoice
The invoice is issued by Perla Invest automatically when payment is confirmed, in the name of the person or company stated in the order, and is sent by email together with the tickets. For invoices made out to a company, the company details can be filled in automatically from the public database of the Romanian tax authority (ANAF), using the tax identification code.
The invoice is issued in Romanian. When an order is cancelled, a credit note is issued for the amount refunded.
12. Use of the website and the shop
The texts, photographs, videos, graphic elements and logos on the website and in the shop belong to Perla Invest or are used with the consent of their owners. They may be viewed for personal purposes. They may be reproduced or used for commercial purposes only with the written consent of Perla Invest.
Unauthorised access to the servers or to protected areas, the introduction of code that may affect the operation of the website, automated placing of orders and any use that prevents other users from accessing the website are not permitted.
The information on the website is updated periodically. For operating hours and fares, the applicable information is that shown in the shop at the time of the order and that displayed in the stations.
The website contains links to services of other providers, such as Google Maps, social networks and the NETOPIA Payments payment page. These are used under the conditions set by their providers.
13. Personal data
Personal data received through the website and the shop are processed in accordance with the Privacy policy. The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie policy.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints about an order or the service provided are sent by email to office@perlainvest.ro or made by telephone on 0724 538 928. A reply is given within 30 days of receipt at the latest.
If a complaint is not resolved amicably, the consumer may apply to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) (anpc.ro), including through its alternative dispute resolution procedure (reclamatiisal.anpc.ro), or to the competent courts in Romania.
15. Changes to these terms
Perla Invest may change these terms. The new version is published on this page, with the date of the update, and applies from the date of publication. Each order is governed by the terms in force on the date it was placed.
16. Governing law
These terms and the contracts concluded through the online shop are governed by Romanian law, in particular the Civil Code, Law No 365/2002 on electronic commerce, Government Emergency Ordinance No 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals and Government Ordinance No 21/1992 on consumer protection.
